Your words can help make the world a better place
Write From The Heart is a quarterly Micro Fiction Competition with a difference.
Your $2 entry fee will be split between a nominated charity and a prize pool.
So you write, give, and have a chance of winning all for the cost of a gold coin.
For more details, scroll down.
This Month's Nominated Charity
One of the unique and fantastic aspects of our competition is that half of your entry fee goes to a charity partner chosen by the previous competition’s winner. AND for this edition of the comp, we’ll be donating to the Dolphin Research Institute.
Free entry for 12-25 year olds
Everyone has a story in them. So why not write one and be in the running for a $50 first prize. This quarter’s theme is ‘Faith’ so all you have to do is write a story, poem or song in 100 words or less that includes your interpretation of the theme ‘Faith’ and be as creative as you like. Entries close at Midnight, end of May 2021.
A guide for Open category entrants
Entry is easy. Entries from all over our beautiful planet are most welcome.

2. Make sure your story includes this month’s theme, which is…’Faith’ and feel free to interpret this as imaginatively as you like.

Total Cash Pool
We’ll keep you regularly updated on the total cash pool via our social media pages (click here). So how is the prize pool calculated? Good question. 50% of your entry fee goes to our monthly charity partner, 10% for admin purposes to keep the comp running and 40% to the winner of the comp, unless we have more than 100 entries in which case we split up the prize pool in the following way – 50% to our charity partner, 10% for admin and 40% is divided up between 1st, 2nd and 3rd with 1st prize taking 70%, 2nd prize 20% and third 10%. Does your head hurt after that? I know mine does. We know that money isn’t everything but hey, you may just earn enough to spread the love and shout your friends or loved ones to a night out at the local.
