What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Entry form details
When visitors enter our competition, we collect data in the form of contact details for the sole purpose of keeping them informed on the outcomes of the competition and upcoming competition details. Entrants are automatically signed up to our newsletter service for the above purpose, i.e. to keep them informed.
We do not pass entrant details on to 3rd parties for their marketing or commercial pursuits.
We work with 3rd party payment gateway provider Paypal. By paying your entry fee you are bound to the terms and conditions of Paypal’s service.
The author of the entry remains the owner of the copyright. We will not use the entry for any commercial purposes unless we have the agreement of the owner of the entry.
How long we retain your data
If you enter the competition, the entry and its metadata are retained indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
If you have entered the competition, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
